Ennam stores the decisions, reflections, and preferences you enter locally on your device. No account is required for the free local-first experience.
If diagnostics or analytics are enabled in your build, Ennam may collect limited technical and product events such as app screens viewed, feature usage, crash reports, device/app metadata, and error details. These events are used to improve reliability and product quality. We do not intentionally send your decision text, reasoning, reflections, or other journal content in analytics events.
All data is encrypted on your device using AES-256-GCM encryption before it is written to local storage. A unique encryption key is generated for your device and never leaves it. This means:
Ennam may use the following third-party services:
AI Coach is off by default. If you enable it, Ennam sends a brief decision summary, selected choices, and a random device identifier to generate tailored questions and enforce daily usage limits. No account is required and no personal identifier is attached by Ennam.
Ennam does not show ads and does not sell your data.
Ennam is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect any information from children under 13.
You can export your local decisions and reflections at any time from Settings → Export all data. You can delete local data from Settings → Wipe all data or by uninstalling the app.
If we ever introduce features that change how data is handled (such as optional cloud sync), this policy will be updated and you will be notified within the app before any change takes effect. Your data will never be uploaded without your explicit opt-in.
